EDDA DELL’ORSO

Ennio Morricone's Favourite Voice

The legendary Edda turns 90 on February Sunday 16th!

We are thrilled to celebrate the soprano whose ethereal voice helped shape the golden age of Italian cinema.

Her journey began with Ennio Morricone on Once Upon a Time in the West (1968), where her haunting, wordless vocals added unforgettable depth to the score. She later collaborated with many others Italian film music composers like Bruno Nicolai, Piero Umiliani, Berto Pisano and many more… becoming the unmistakable voice behind some of the most iconic film soundtracks.

Decades later, her rich, timeless voice continues to bring luxury and emotion to any scene. Whether in a high-end commercial or a lighthearted comedy, her work is proof that true artistry only grows more iconic with time.
